NO BATTERIES / NO PERFUME / NO SPRAY BOTTLES OR AEROSOLS.
This includes loose or spare batteries, power banks and batteries fitted inside devices. These items are not accepted by Delfast for this service. This list is not exhaustive. If you are unsure whether an item can be sent, contact info@delfastltd.co.uk before packing or sending it.
Please complete the details for every parcel accurately:
- Describe each item clearly, for example, “men’s cotton shirts”, and indicate whether it is new or used.
- Select the reason for shipment: personal belongings, gift, sale, return, repair or other. Explain “Other” in the comments.
- Enter the quantity, total weight of each item line in kilograms, and the value of one item in GBP. Line values and invoice totals are calculated automatically.
- Declare a realistic value for every item, including gifts and used belongings. Do not enter zero merely because an item is not being sold.
- Enter the total parcel weight, including packaging.
- Provide complete recipient details. Enter a passport number only if Delfast requests one for your shipment.
- Add the HS / commodity code if you know it. Delfast will review the details and contact you if further classification information or supporting documents are needed.
Check the destination country’s import requirements and restrictions before sending. Contact Delfast if you are unsure whether an item can be accepted. Note any relevant restrictions or supporting documents in the comments. Business shipments may require additional information before dispatch.
Incomplete or inaccurate declarations may cause delays, fines or seizure of goods.
Follow Delfast’s instructions for providing printed documents; some services use electronic customs documents. If printed copies are required, attach the invoice and supporting documents securely to the outside of the parcel, preferably in a transparent document pouch.
